By accessing doticrosst.com, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients of doticrosst.

Services

doticrosst provides digital agency services including website design, local SEO, and ongoing website support for small businesses. We also operate a specialist division for hairdressers and barbers. Specific terms for individual projects, including scope of work, pricing, timelines, and deliverables, are agreed in writing before any work begins.

Quotes provided through our scoping form or by email are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Project timelines are estimates and may vary depending on client responsiveness and the complexity of the work. We will communicate any changes to agreed timelines promptly.

Payment terms

Payment terms are agreed on a per-project basis and outlined in your project quote. Typically, we require a deposit before work begins with the balance due on completion and before the website goes live. We accept bank transfer and other standard payment methods. Late payments may result in suspension of ongoing support services.

Intellectual property

Upon full payment, clients own the deliverables created for their project, including website code, content, and design assets. doticrosst retains the right to use anonymised examples of completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing. Third-party assets such as fonts, stock images, or software libraries remain subject to their respective licences.

Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, content, images, and feedback in a timely manner. Delays caused by late provision of materials may affect project timelines. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to any content or images they provide for use on their website.

Hosting and domain

Websites built by doticrosst are hosted on Netlify, which provides free hosting for the traffic levels most small businesses generate. Clients are responsible for their own domain name registration and renewal. We can assist with domain setup and DNS configuration as part of the project scope.

Ongoing support

Optional ongoing support plans are available on a monthly basis. Support plans can be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice. Support covers content updates, performance monitoring, and technical maintenance as described in your support agreement.

Limitation of liability

doticrosst provides services on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services or this website. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings, traffic levels, or business outcomes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes

We may update these terms of service from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when these terms were last revised. Continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
